The Ada County Landfill is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Landfill Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, performing routine landfill technician work for the Ada County Landfill.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) preferred;
  • Knowledge of construction materials and methods;
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures;
  • Knowledge of general maintenance, repair and construction of buildings and grounds facilities;
  • Ability to analyze situations, identify problem areas and recommend solutions;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others;
  • Ability to use a computer with MS Office software;
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing;
  • Ability to safely perform all tasks.
