Description:

We're looking for a Lead Patient Transporter (7a-7:30p) who will work regularly with patients, providers, nursing teams on hospital units, imaging services technologists and nurses and is a critical component to ensuring a great patient experience. This individual will:


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate the flow and dispatch processes to transport all inpatients to and from the department for their imaging
  • Manage the patient tracking and information system in collaboration with the dispatch command center to receive, record, dispatch, respond to and complete patient transport requests
  • Oversee numerous patient transport requests at once, prioritizing requests based on patient and department need

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Some areas will prefer BLS certification upon hiring.
  • Others will provide training post hire.
  • The ability to lift 75 pounds.
