A start up private equity firm specializing in niche service industries seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Business Associate to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Support firm leadership in developing, refining, and implementing internal processes and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Portfolio Collaboration: Partner with portfolio company teams on strategic and operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with firm objectives goals.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research to support decision-making, business development, and market analysis, leveraging databases and industry reports.
  • Project Management: Assist with project coordination, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely execution across departments and portfolio companies.
  • Operational Support: Handle day-to-day administrative and operational tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and workflow coordination.
  • Compliance Oversight: Track and maintain corporate and regulatory compliance across the firm and portfolio entities, ensuring adherence to U.S. regulations.
  • Team Support: Provide flexible, high-quality support to Partners, Associates, and team members, adapting to evolving priorities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in operations, project management, or administrative roles. Experience in private equity, consulting, or service industries is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with digital tools (e.g., CRM systems, research platforms).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills—clear, concise, and professional.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-motivated and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset.
    • Openness to learning new tools and cloud-based systems.
