Job description

  • Solid Handling and Package Units Engineer will develop activities for specify, select and follow up of Solid Handling and Package Unit equipment, ensuring the compliance with the technical, QA/QC and HSE requirements.

Tasks include:

Proposal Phase:

  • Review technical tender documentation
  • Prepare Solid Handling and Package Units technical documentation for inquiry
  • Review Vendor offers and prepare technical evaluation
  • Support procurement team in defining cost evaluation for equipment
  • Coordination with other disciplines Project phase:
  • Review project specifications and technical requirement
  • Prepare Solid Handling and Package Units technical documentation for inquiry
  • Review Vendor offers and prepare technical evaluation
  • Support procurement team in defining cost evaluation for equipment
  • Prepare Solid Handling and Package Units technical documentation for purchase
  • Review, mark-up comments and finalize all vendor drawings, interfacing with other technical disciplines
  • Attend to internal review activities and participate in inter-discipline review meetings (P&IDs screening, 3D Model review, etc.)
  • Coordinate and assist other technical disciplines to perform engineering activities providing technical information as utilities and electrical load list, layouts, etc.
  • Provide support for expediting and testing activities
  • Provide support to project engineering for Client requirements providing technical information, attending meetings, etc. Development technology know-how Prepare technical specifications
  • Prepare technical trainings for junior engineers Knowledge of international standards is required.
