Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Monrovia, CA

Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a background in the manufacturing industry to join our team in Monrovia. This contract-to-hire role offers a dynamic opportunity to lead accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance and strong experience in cost accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee full-cycle accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Manage cost accounting processes, inventory valuation, and standard costing in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring accurate journal entries and financial statements.
  • Prepare and analyze balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Supervise AP/AR, payroll, and tax compliance activities to ensure timely processing and reporting.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and improve internal controls and accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial decision-making.
  • Utilize ERP systems and accounting software to manage financial data effectively.
