We have completed several successful projects in the Los Angeles area and are now expanding our presence in the region.

We’re seeking a talented licensed architect or boutique architectural firm in Los Angeles to collaborate with us as an extension of our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our presence in Southern California while leveraging the support and reputation of an established firm.

About the Role


As our Los Angeles Architect, you will serve as the local project lead, responsible for driving design excellence, managing client relationships, and overseeing project delivery on the ground. You will collaborate closely with our Seattle-based team to ensure brand and design consistency across all efforts.

This role is ideal for an experienced architect or small practice ready to take on a leadership position in a growing market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage architectural projects in the LA region from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with the Seattle team to maintain brand standards and design cohesion.
  • Conduct site visits and manage local permitting and code compliance.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors in LA.
  • Support business development and identify new project opportunities.
  • Operate in a hybrid/remote model with regular in-person meetings and site work.

Qualifications

✔ Licensed architect in California (NCARB certification a plus)
✔ Minimum 7 years of experience in architecture, with a strong portfolio in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects
✔ Deep understanding of LA zoning, permitting, and building codes
✔ Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping grow our regional presence
✔ Strong client communication and business development skills
✔ Comfortable working independently while collaborating remotely
