About the position

SOSi is seeking a German Language Instructor in Reston, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a history of providing high-level language instruction, lesson development, and assessment. Language instructors will be expected to deliver proficiency-based foreign language instruction to students ranging from levels 0 to 3 on the Interagency Language Roundtable. Instructors will be responsible for the full cycle of lesson development and planning, instruction, and student assessment. Instruction will include developing students' skills in speaking, listening, and reading. German Instructors will provide German language instruction across proficiency levels, develop, deliver, and maintain appropriate lesson plans for beginners, intermediate, and advanced classes, and facilitate classes that focus on real-world scenarios. Additionally, instructors will provide students with constructive feedback and consult and collaborate with customers on organizational needs.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active in scope TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • ,
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher is required.

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • ,
  • Experience in language training and assessing student proficiency.
