Position Overview

The Loan Review Quality Assurance Representative is responsible for performing a variety of duties to ensure proper setup of new customers and accounts. As an integral member of the operations team, this individual will review new customers, new accounts, account maintenance, and related transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy. The Loan Quality Assurance Representative will coordinate work within the department and with other departments to ensure delivery of superior quality service to both internal and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews and verifies accuracy of new account setup on core servicing system.
  • Reviews and verifies account documentation files; checks files for accuracy, reviews checklist for all documents needed, document exceptions as needed.
  • Reviews and verifies maintenance entered by other users of the core system to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitors tickler reports for accounts that require specified maintenance.
  • Documents and reports errors identified.
  • Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
  • Reviews account documentation and account maintenance for accuracy and completeness.
  • Performs extensive research on account records.
  • Handles direct communications, both written and verbal, with internal customers and other parties.
  • Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensures proper coding of new accounts on the system.
  • Confirms that maintenance completed is done appropriately and accurately.
  • Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment, which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the compliance with all regulatory requirements; ensures that all office personnel adhere to the same.
  • Performs tasks, which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Education & Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two (2) years related experience normally required.

Skill(s)

Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; moderate interpersonal relations and communicative skills; moderate typing and PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word; new account and maintenance processing; ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach with hands or arms, use hands to manipulate objects, handle or feel, and lift items weighing 20 lbs. or less; visual, auditory and speaking skills.
