Linen Service Worker ID- 11173

Job Title: Linen Service Worker/Hospital Linen Technician
Location: Newport Beach ,CA
Job Type: 6 Months contract Higher possibility of extension
Schedule: Start times at 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM (No schedule restrictions)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Linen Service Worker to join our healthcare team. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring the hospital is stocked with clean, organized linens and garments. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and have prior linen room experience, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribute and stock clean linens throughout the hospital daily.
  • Order and maintain inventory levels of clean linens.
  • Stock exchange carts and bulk delivery carts.
  • Transport linen carts to and from the linen room.
  • Distribute scrubs and lab coats, keeping accurate computerized records.
  • Clean and maintain linen rooms.
  • Occasionally assist as an EVS Tech, performing general cleaning duties throughout various hospital areas.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Prior linen room experience is required.
  • Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
  • Ability to push/pull heavy linen carts.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices.
  • Reliable, punctual, and accountable.
  • Comfortable using technology and inventory software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
