Voter Services Project Manager ID- 9106

SUMMARY

The Voter Services Project Manager works closely with Voter Services leadership to facilitate a variety of essential tasks. The nature of our work is cyclical - some of the responsibilities listed below occur on an ad hoc basis. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages Inbound Campaign Finance Reports for Countywide & Municipal level offices, committees and Political Action Committees.
• Posts Campaign Finance Reports on County Website for public viewing.
• Administer fines for late campaign finance reports in accordance with Department of State Guidelines.
• Respond to inquiries regarding Campaign Finance regulations & reporting requirements.
• Provide training to relevant internal teammates who may also interact with candidates needing to file campaign finance reports.
• Serves as Administrator to internal communications tool.
• Facilitates Quality Assurance initiatives including proofreading, editing and revising technical documents.
• Assists with Poll Worker Training as needed.
• Plan and schedule tabulator assignments.
• Facilitates Montgomery County’s Drop Box Program.
• Works internally to recruit Roving Voting Machine Technicians & Warehouse Assistants for Election Day.
• Develops strategic partnerships with government, philanthropic, nonprofit, and community partners to source opportunities for voter education, voter registration drives, poll worker recruitment, and student education.
• Facilitates Pennsylvania’s “Early Voting” Programming by:

  • Assisting voters in person;
  • Securing Satellite Office space;
  • Organizing appropriate staff for Satellite Offices;
  • Ensuring all equipment is working order/supply levels are adequate.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degrees (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
• Ability to write reports, correspondence, and manage multiple relationships.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, governmental officials, and the general public.
• Ability to become well versed in PA Election Laws and Election Day Procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft® WORD, EXCEL, and mail merge.
• Knowledge of the SURE system preferred.
•Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills
• Must be accurate, detail oriented and well organized.
• A valid driver’s license and proof of current insurance.
