Elastic Search, Kafka Developer ID- 10067

Infosys is seeking an Elastic Search, Kafka Developer - In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture knowledge and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or San Jose, CA or Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and or travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.

• Hands-on experience in Elastic Search and Kafka

• Strong background in Java and Spring boot will be an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building complex systems involving high volumes and high performance/throughput expectations

• Should be good on Code coverage and Unit Test.

• Must have good debugging skills

• Interact effectively with cross-functional teams to iron out integration needs

• Software development leveraging Agile Scrum methodology

• Committed to developing high quality code, with speed and willingness to go the extra mile

• Exposure in development and deployment to private/public cloud, DevOps experience

• Ability & prior experience in performing a techno-functional role, anchoring technical solutions, working with •Business stakeholders to understand the requirements, study existing applications/technical landscape, and collaborate with IT Architects to define technical solution keeping in mind the various integration touchpoints with existing operational systems.
