Compensation: $25-$500 contingent on the type of dance services provided.Dancers are paid 3 to 5 business days after a class, event,and performance.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Dance Instructor who is experienced in teaching diverse populations, including senior citizens, individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and children. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, creative, and dedicated to making dance accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Responsibilities:

Lead regular dance classes for senior citizens, individuals with intellectual disabilities, and children

Conduct dance workshops and participate in special events (community fairs, school programs, etc.)

Perform and/or choreograph dance routines for public performances and events

Adapt dance techniques and curriculum to meet the unique needs of each group

Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and self-expression

Work collaboratively with event planners and team members for seamless program delivery

Qualifications:

Prior experience teaching dance to diverse age groups and abilities

Knowledge of various dance styles (e.g., modern, hip-hop, ballroom, jazz, etc.)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to adapt and be creative in teaching approaches

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different class/event locations

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
