In this role, the Content Manager will be tasked with creating engaging content from concept to completion, particularly around tournament times. This includes producing images, videos, graphics, and other visual content that captures the excitement of the PGA TOUR. Collaboration is key, as the manager will work with various teams, including tournaments, client services, and live production, to ensure a cohesive messaging strategy across all platforms. The ability to respond quickly to breaking news and trending topics is essential, as is the capacity to analyze data to inform content strategies and decisions. The role also involves executing branded content that aligns with sales initiatives and sharing live highlights during competitions to keep fans engaged.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content from concept to completion before, during and after tournaments for use on PGA TOUR platforms, including images, copy, videos, graphics, GIFs, and other visual content.
  • Collaborate with other content creators, participating in regular storytelling brainstorm sessions.
  • Work seamlessly with tournaments, long form, client services, brand, and live production teams to create synergy in all TOUR messaging.
  • Respond promptly to breaking news with compelling content to join trending conversations.
  • Travel to tournaments and off-course shoots to capture content and produce social media content.
  • Adhere to PGA TOUR brand standards, strategic initiatives, and established voice across platforms.
  • Utilize available data and analytics to make or adjust programming and content decisions.
  • Execute branded content that fulfills sales initiatives.
  • Clip and share highlights live during competition for use on PGA TOUR social platforms.
