About the position
The NFL Digital Media Group is seeking a part-time Content Specialist for NFL+, focusing on content marketing, creation, and social media strategy. This role involves coordinating content projects, creating engaging social media content, and optimizing it for SEO, all while ensuring alignment with NFL+ standards and goals.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage content and social projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
- Create, edit, and publish engaging social content and campaigns for NFL Media's platforms.
- Brainstorm and generate creative ideas for new content that aligns with strategic goals.
- Ensure content is optimized for SEO and other best practices.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness for NFL+.
- Foster and maintain a positive online community; monitor social media channels and respond appropriately.
- Prepare regular reports on content performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar for consistent and timely posting.
- Ensure all content is grammatically correct, factually accurate, and consistent with the brand's tone and style.
- Identify and engage with influencers and potential brand advocates to grow the NFL+ audience.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of content creation, content marketing, and social media experience.
- Interest in and working knowledge of the NFL.
- Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
- Familiarity with direct-to-consumer content environment.
- Working knowledge of AP Style.
