Commercial Lines Account Manager – Remote or Hybrid in Kentucky
Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Commercial Insurance Account Manager
A local agency needs an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager. Must have a strong work ethic, a drive to succeed and a “can do” attitude. This is a fun company to work for, flexible time and a great compensation package.
Duties will include:
- Accurately input policy updates and account information.
- Communicate with client, producer, and carrier underwriters regarding policy and coverage related questions and information.
- Responsible for the marketing/quoting process for both new business and account renewals.
- Identify, compile, and manage information regarding account renewals.
- Consistent and timely communication with agency clients and carrier representatives.
Qualifications:
- Property & Casualty Insurance license required.
- Minimum 1-3 years independent agency or retail broker experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage & rating, previous personal lines experience to be considered.
- Experience with various carriers and working directly with their underwriters.
- Experience utilizing online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems.
- Applied TAM, EPIC or AMS360 software experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
