Substitute - Paraeducator After School ID- 11462

THE NEED

We are currently hiring Substitute Paraeducator After School staff. Qualified* applicants will be contacted when a need arises.

Shifts are up to 6 hours/day.
Shifts are between the hours of 11:45 am and 6:00 pm


*Qualified means that you have attached your high school diploma or GED, and your transcripts reflecting at least 48 semester units of college, OR pass the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST). If you cannot provide this information, you will need to pass the proficiency exam which will be given at a later date. 
 
Experience:  Some experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in an organized setting.  Some experience using computers, software and other technology tools and resources relevant to providing academic and clerical support.  Experience working with individuals with special developmental needs is desirable.

THE POSITION

The Substitute Paraeducator After School position is on call, as needed, to fill in for employee absences, vacancies, or limited term assistance.  Examinations and Interviews are scheduled based on substitute demand.  You will receive an email notification when we are ready to move forward with the next step in the recruitment.
