We are searching for a Transportation Equipment Operator I to join our team! Duties involve the operation of equipment used in the routine daily maintenance and repair of the public infrastructure. 

THIS SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION IS SUBJECT TO MANDATORY DRUG TESTING POLICIES AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.

Hours:


Regular Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Subject to OT during emergencies.
Summer Schedule (Memorial Day to Labor Day): Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (may vary based on seasonal needs)

Qualifications: 
 Graduation from high school or equivalent and six months of experience in the operation of trucks and construction equipment heavier than pleasure vehicles or pickup trucks, and six months of experience in general construction activities; or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills.

Necessary Special Requirement: 
 
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Possession of a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and endorsements are required or the ability to obtain within 60 days of appointment.
