Field Technician

Sign On Bonus: $250

Salary Range: $35,000 to $70,000 a year

What's In It For You?

  • Our technicians on average are currently earning between $22 and $24.50 an hour and exceptional technicians are currently earning up to $35 an hour. Base rate for technicians is $17 an hour guaranteed for the first year of employment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Installing cutting edge technologies through DISH, OnTech, Hughes, Viasat, Polk Audio, Google, and Ring.
  • Problem Solving - Identifying technical issues while troubleshooting equipment and working with the customer on potential solutions that resolve an ongoing issue or specific need.
  • Educating our customers on all installed equipment and informing them of value added products and services that may benefit their connected home in the future.


A Successful Technician Will Have The Following:

  • Strong customer service skills; friendly, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity.
  • Ability to safely use weight-bearing equipment (ie aerial lift, ladder) within the maximum weight limitations of that equipment (330 lbs).
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb ladders to a height of 40 feet.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work in all climates.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets DISH's minimum safety standard as well as a thorough background check and drug screen.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, and holidays.
