We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as an Administrative Supervisor. As a Parks and Recreation Administrative Supervisor, you will have a crucial role in helping our department tackle inefficiencies in current processes and create new systems or best practices across the different lines of business our department handles.

Responsibilities
- Provide citywide customer service and assist with administrative problems as they pertain to the department.
- Serve as a liaison between the City and the community, staff, and other agencies.
- Use sound judgment to respond to citizens regarding sensitive issues.
- Manage the schedules and calendars of department staff.
- Organize meetings and coordinate department staff attendance at various meetings, events, and conferences.
- Track Boards and Commissions vacancies and end of terms.
- Assist with advertising and interviewing for open positions.
- Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, and other materials.
- Review documents and communications on behalf of the department for content and accuracy.
- Disseminate information throughout the division and City.
Requirements
- Associate's degree with a minimum of seven years of high-level administrative support experience, including two years of executive level support; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Two years' experience in lead or supervisory capacity.
- Valid Washington State driver's license.
- Advanced knowledge and technical proficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
