About the Commerce Lifecycle & Platform team You’ll lead the Content Designers working on our Commerce Lifecycle & Platform team (within Growth XD). This team is responsible for creating innovative and delightful customer acquisition and retention experiences, while helping drive Netflix’s revenue growth opportunities globally. The mission of the team is to turn every Netflix prospective member into an informed, delighted and satisfied Netflix customer. About Content Design Content Designers partner with Product Designers, Product Managers, Product Marketing, Globalization specialists and others to create Netflix’s product experiences. Designing through the lens of language, they develop testable, strategic content that minimize friction and helps Netflix speak meaningfully to a global audience. About You You have experience building diverse teams and set a high bar for execution, communication, and responsibility. As a leader, you measure success in terms of both human and business impact. You foster excellence through collaboration and encourage an inclusive, open environment that makes space for different views and work styles. You’re an excellent advocate, evangelist, and listener who seeks and offers candid, constructive feedback. You know how to think critically about product flows and drive innovation ideas forward. You work cross-functionally with multiple teams and can speak to and elevate the unique value of Content Design. You strive to simplify complex problems, and support your ideas with data to get everyone on the same page. What You’ll Do

  • Manage and build a diverse, globally minded team of Content Designers
  • Coach and mentor the team and foster a healthy culture
  • Provide strategic clarity and focus while identifying and unblocking barriers to success
  • Collaborate with other design, writing, product, and engineering leaders on the strategic product vision for the space
  • Create and execute Content Design strategies that stay ahead of the growing business and elevate the user experience

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience successfully managing a Content Design team
  • Ability to build successful working relationships with stakeholders, partners, and team members, at the individual and group level
  • Experience developing and guiding language systems, scaling strategies, and other Content Design deliverables
  • Experience working on global products and partnering with Globalization
  • Experience with a/b testing preferred

This full-time, salaried position reports to the Senior Manager of Content Design, Growth XD. Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $270,000-$700,000. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
