About the position

The Housekeeping Associate position at our Saint Louis Park location is a full-time role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms in accordance with company standards. This role is crucial in ensuring guest satisfaction through friendly, courteous, and professional service. The Housekeeping Associate will be tasked with cleaning guest rooms, replenishing necessary amenities and supplies, and ensuring that all cleaning carts, linens, and equipment are in proper working order. The associate will also be accountable for guest satisfaction related to housekeeping services and will assist guests with their requests in a timely and positive manner, always aiming to provide the highest level of quality service. In addition to cleaning duties, the Housekeeping Associate will work collaboratively with other departments, contributing to a team-oriented environment.

 

The role requires adherence to the company’s guest service recovery program and compliance with lost and found procedures. Safety is paramount, and the associate must ensure a clean and safe work area, following all local, state, and federal regulations. Regular inspections of rooms for maintenance needs are also part of the responsibilities, with any issues reported promptly. The position demands knowledge of the safe use of cleaning chemicals and adherence to company procedures regarding guest and employee incidents. The Housekeeping Associate will be expected to produce a required volume of work by effectively planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks. Attendance, grooming, and adherence to general work rules are essential, as is participation in required department and hotel meetings. Proper use of all equipment and supplies is also a key responsibility of this role.
