Position Overview:

Every great team has a great leader – as Restaurant GM at BRD, you are the anchor to your store and it is your responsibility to enthusiastically lead your team by example with a focus on exceptional customer service and great tasting, high quality food. Your responsibilities include open communication with the area manager, running successful shifts, developing a team, creating excellent guest experiences, and ensuring consistent, high quality food that meets BRD standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicating often with the area manager about store performance, standard operating procedures, scheduling, and team management
  • Placing food and beverage orders and posting weekly schedules on time
  • Demonstrating a calm demeanor during periods of high-volume business and unusual events, and managing smooth transitions after these events to keep store operations running smoothly and effectively
  • Displaying a customer comes first attitude by setting a positive example for the store team, as well as holding team members accountable for delivering consistently outstanding customer service
  • Driving and implementing existing and new company standards through effective planning, communication, and coaching of the store team
  • Planning, identifying, communicating and delegating appropriate responsibilities and practices to team members to ensure smooth flow of operations
  • Providing coaching and direction to store team to achieve operational goals
  • Constantly reviewing store environment and business performance to identify problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement. Effectively planing solutions and communicates plan to the store team to meet operational goals

Managing the Store:

Developing the Team:

  • Actively managing team members by coaching in the moment, providing performance feedback, and setting goals to improve performance
  • Reinforcing positive team member performance by recognizing individual and team accomplishments
  • Keeping record of coaching and performance reviews
  • Holding manager meetings to communicate updates and listen to feedback
  • Maintaining a successful store team that results in an environment where team members feel valued and respected
  • Holding team members accountable for following company standards

Requirements:

  • Restaurant management experience
  • Experience in fast-casual restaurants or kitchen management
  • Experience in food safety and planning
  • Experience and understanding of sales & labor reports, COGS, decision making, labor/scheduling, training & team development
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to manage store operations independently
  • Knowledge of customer service techniques
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
