The Architecture as Code team is keenly focused on helping engineers build and manage best-in-class customer experiences quickly, economically, and safely. We are looking for an Engineer to be part of our enterprise web intelligence team to help build modern highly available , cloud native applications.
How will you make an impact in this role. Function as member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation) Participate in code reviews and automated testing Debug basic software components and identify code defects for remediation Enable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments Demonstrate self-reliance, and ability to innovate and achieve team goals Demonstrate creative thinking and problem-solving skills, have ability to influence, drive improvements and challenge status quo Expertise in the definition and implementation of effective software engineering practices and processes that result in high speed to market: i.e., open-source style project maintainers, PR review process, issue triage, code reviews, code contribution metrics definition, test automation strategy, CI/CD optimization, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of development experience with Java (minimum Java 8), Python, or Go 6 years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience such as: Experience with distributed systems, cloud native computing, micro-services, Kubernetes and REST/gRPC APIs Experience in developing applications that are scalable, highly available and resilient on AWS, GCP, or Openshift Experience with object-oriented design, algorithms and design patterns Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing Experience with working in a large enterprise with federated development model Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods Experience coding in additional languages is a plus Database experience with Apache Cassandra, and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL is a plus Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Google cloud (GCP) Experience with Event Driven and Reactive Programming Experience with accessibility standards for web and tools like axe Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition
