Patient Services Representative ID-9726
Position: Patient Services Representative
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm; Friday 7:30am-12:00pm
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Patient Services Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential front desk tasks and providing excellent customer service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule in-house office visits based on predetermined appointment arrangements.
- Answer and return phone calls, manage message retrieval and delegation effectively.
- Receive, process, and pre-post payments from patients.
- Screen patients for new demographic information and update registration records as necessary.
- Inform patients of required information/documents needed at the time of their visit.
- Copy and maintain necessary forms for the front office.
- Coordinate and schedule external representative lunches.
- Conduct daily lobby checks and report any issues at the end of each day.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 year of experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
